Rhizome: McColl Center for Visual Art
"Rhizome" was first designed as a site-specific installation located within a vacant church in Charlotte, NC,
This iteration of 'Rhizome' evolved from an ongoing conversation and collaboration with Architect, Antonio Nevada Martinez surrounding the extension and potential dynamism of the drawn line into physical space.
Redesigned for the McColl Center for Visual Arts in Charlotte, NC, structural elements also took into consideration the activity and parameters of architecture, light and physical movement present within the space.
