Rhizome is a site-specific Installation located within a vacant church in Charlotte, NC. Working from a series of drawings I created focusing on organic systems of growth, a team of two professional Architects, five students of Architecture, and I collaborated to create a engaging public Installation. Structural elements also took into consideration elements of time, light, local architecture and history, further creating an environment that reflects ideas of transformation and growth.
